Easter, Mexico Beach, a visit with the cousins

Easter Sunday

Giving his Easter chick a big kiss!

Trying out the my kids' music on some little listeners at Eliza's birthday party in La Grange, GA.

Caleb's daughters (Eliza, 3, and Ryals, 16 months) in their aprons that I made!

Bennett & his cousin, Ryals Connor (Caleb & Faris' daughter).

After spending the weekend in Georgia for Eliza Faris' 3rd birthday party (see pics above), we enjoyed a family vacation at Mexico Beach last week and Bennett loved the sun, sand & surf. Here are some pics of our happy little man!

Bennett is currently weighing in at 17 lbs & 12 oz. He is in the 85th percentile for height and the 7th percentile for weight. He is a tall & skinny string bean!

We're happy to report that he's sleeping thru the night!

He loves to play & is crawling all over creation. My job is to keep everything out of his mouth!

First dip in the Gulf... He loves his baths but wasn't sure about the crashing waves.

He loves giving big, gummy kisses & listening to music. If he's crying, I can break into song and he quiets immediately. His favorite song is "If I Were A Mole" (which I just recorded for the children's album and will post soon!)

8 months old!

On the boardwalk down to the beach for the first time...

Seeing dolphins playing at sunset...

Buried in the sand...

With his girlfriend (an older woman!), Marin (Kim Shoemaker Foster's daughter). Kim told me that Marin declared, "Sorry, Daddy, but I'm going to marry Baby Bennett!" after spending the day with little romeo.

Trying out some kids' music on Marin...

A Blue Fish in Bennett's Easter bucket...

My oldest friend, Kimberly Shoemaker Foster. We have made so many wonderful memories together since we were little girls.
