Trip to "Las Grangeles" (La Grange, GA)

Bennett and Mommy had a fun 4-day stay in La Grange recently where we enjoyed the Connor (Caleb & Faris) family & kids.

We had a lovely visit to Calloway Gardens where we watched the "Birds of Prey" show with owls, hawks, vultures and more (and tried to keep Eliza out of the sharp talons!). We also visited the Butterfly Gardens and walked the trails around lake.

Recording the new Children's CD!

A few weeks ago I got back into the recording studio to begin work on the new Children's CD, which I hope to release in mid-2011. I've just finished recording the first two songs: "Map of My Face" and "If I Were A Mole."

My dear friend and folk artist Mare Wakefield provided background vocals.

Mare's husband, Nomad, is producing the CD. His a Nashville-based composer, arranger and producer.
