Bennett meets his cousins

Recently Bennett had the opportunity to travel to Jacksonville, FL to meet his cousins Olivia, Sophia and Caedmon (Kat's kids). We had a wonderful time visiting the zoo, the park and St. Augustine. Olivia and I made up songs ("Noodle, Noodle") and she really took a liking to the "baby bear."

Bennett's 1st Thanksgiving

On Nov. 25th Bennett enjoyed his first Thanksgiving at his great grandfather (Pawpaw's) Arrington, TN farm. Pictured below is Bennett hanging with Grandpa Bob Bowen on a chilly holiday afternoon.

Bennett started teething at 3 months and 1 day. He's chewing on his hands like crazy and has been drooling for weeks now. Can't wait to see that first pearly white come up! He's been handling the change pretty well, he just needs more attention during the early morning hours (like 1 a.m., 3 a.m., etc...) because his gums are bothering him. We're ready for him to sleep thru the nite!

Family Vacation to Center Hill Lake

On Nov. 5-6 we took our first family vacation to the beautiful Center Hill Lake, just an hour north of Nashville. Michael enjoyed fly fishing while Bennett and I admired the scenery from the shoreside. We hiked, ate, read, relaxed and had a wonderful time together on our weekend getaway.

Scrub-a-dub and a Corn Maze

On Sat, Oct. 16 we visited a corn maze at Gentry Farms. Bennett loved the fresh air and watched Mommy beat Daddy at Corn Hole.

8 Weeks Old

Our boy is 8 weeks old here. He measured 24 inches and almost 13 pounds at his 2-month Dr. visit. He is super tall (in the 86 percentile for length) and has outgrown any outfits with feet in them. He is sporting the high-water pant look at present. NBA bound, perhaps?
